This page features smaller Grand Wood horses. Generally they are about 5 inches tall. There is very little information available so I don't know much about Grand Wood Carvings. If you can help me ID anything, or correct any errors I might have made, I would appreciate your help. I'm also looking to add more carvings to my collection, and any printed materials.

Grand Wood Famous Pacer Dan Patch Variations
I love how these 2 variations look so different
World Champion Harness Horse Dan Patch never lost a race Retired in 1910 He is still considered the greatest Harness Racing Horse of all time Both of these horses have a Dan Patch belly band These horses have their mane on opposite sides. The horse with the Genuine Mahogany sticker is definitely not made of Mahogany It looks more like yellow pine or something similar with a coarse grain I think the horses made of pine were probably made a little bit later in an attempt to save money. I know they made Mahogany horses until they closed Dan Patch is the largest horse on this page at 6 3/4 inches tall.
